In keeping with Judy’s philosophy of providing creative taste sensations for her customers, a new gourmet salad, baguette and brunch menu is now available, giving Balmain diners a new wide variety of dining delicacies. Come in and try our Stacked Seafood Cobb Salad with layered lobster and prawns, avocado, egg & tomato or our Huevos Ranchero baked free range eggs with tomato salsa, sour cream, guacamole served on a tortilla.

The secret behind our heavenly chocolates

Luscious textures, unusual free form shapes, and tantalizing flavours - some original and some based on Creole cooking.

Judy also works with chocolate making methods passed down from the South American ancients to the 16th century Spanish and imported by the Belgium in the 17thcentury.

Our chocolate joys, created on site, use Belcolade Belgian chocolate sighted by chocolate lovers the world over, as the benchmark to measure all other brands.

The best coffee for the best chocolate

We find many coffee varieties in Balmain, some good and some so so. As coffee “nuts” we decided, after prolonged study, on the small niche roaster and blender - Coffee Alchemy, famous for their Australian Barista Champion award and other medal winning achievements.
